About Us

Bags with a longer point of view.

Our story
Bagsage began with one complaint: good bags were either disposable or unaffordable.
So we went looking for the middle. Full-grain hides from small tanneries, solid brass hardware, and ateliers that still finish every edge by hand. We buy in small runs, sell direct, and skip the markup that usually sits between a workshop and your shoulder.
QUALITY & CRAFT

The leather does the talking.

Full-grain hides from Tuscany, vegetable-tanned in small drums. Solid brass hardware that patinas instead of peeling. Edges burnished and waxed by hand, seams saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread. Nothing leaves the atelier that we would not carry ourselves — which is why our prices are honest rather than cheap, and why a Bagsage bag is the one you repair, not replace.

FOR YOU

Quiet service, no friction.

We answer every email personally. We ship from a single studio, and we keep tracking live from checkout to your door. If a bag is not right, returns are free within 30 days — no restocking fees, no fine print.

SUSTAINABILITY

Less, but better.

The most sustainable bag is the one you already own. So we build to outlast trends: classic silhouettes, replaceable hardware, leather that improves with wear. Small runs mean less waste, and we repair what we sell instead of pushing you toward the next drop.
We are not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. But every season we ask our tanneries harder questions, trace each hide further back, and ship in recycled packaging as standard. Where we can source closer to home, we do.
